CarVault Terms of Use

Operator, eligibility and agreement

CarVault is operated by Oleksandr Tokariev. Support: alexdeveloper909@gmail.com. The service may be offered worldwide wherever its stores and service are available.

You must be at least 16 and able to agree to these Terms. By creating or continuing to use an account after the Terms are shown, you agree to the presented version. Otherwise, do not continue; you may sign out or request deletion.

The service and your responsibility

CarVault stores vehicle, mileage, fuel, expense, service and reminder information and calculates statistics. It is an organisational tool, not manufacturer instructions, professional mechanical advice, emergency assistance, insurance/tax advice, or an official inspection record.

Reminders and notifications are best-effort. You are responsible for input accuracy, vehicle safety, legal deadlines and decisions made using the service.

Account, content and ChatGPT

Keep your Google or Apple account secure. Different sign-in providers create separate CarVault accounts. You keep ownership of information you enter and allow CarVault to process it only to provide and protect the service.

If connected, ChatGPT may read and create records within the shown tool permissions when you ask it to. Review results. At launch it does not edit or delete existing records, and OpenAI terms also apply.

Acceptable use

Do not:

• access another person's account or data;
• probe, disrupt, overload or bypass security except where law expressly permits;
• use unsupported automation in a way that harms the service;
• submit unlawful, infringing, malicious or deliberately misleading content; or
• use CarVault to facilitate harm or unlawful activity.

Availability, suspension and ending the service

CarVault has no guaranteed uptime or backup service. Features may change as this small project develops. Access may be limited or suspended where reasonably needed to protect users, comply with law or stop serious misuse.

If the whole service is discontinued, reasonable notice and a practical opportunity to request available account data will be provided where feasible.

Price

There is no paid plan at launch. A possible future €1.99 subscription is not available and creates no commitment. No charge will begin until price, features, billing, cancellation, restoration, refunds, taxes and store terms are presented and the Terms are updated. Purchase will require separate affirmation.

Responsibility, law and disputes

Nothing excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to those rules, CarVault is not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate entries, reliance on a missed reminder, third-party services, events outside reasonable control or use contrary to these Terms.

Mandatory consumer protections and other rights that apply where you live are not removed by these Terms. Contact support first. Disputes may be brought before courts or other forums having jurisdiction under applicable law.

Changes and contact

Material Terms changes require new affirmative acceptance. Historical versions remain available and changes are not retroactive unless required by law. Questions: alexdeveloper909@gmail.com.
