Delete your CarVault account

Effective 31 July 2026 · 2026-07-31

Request account deletion by email

Request deletion

CarVault is operated by Oleksandr Tokariev. To request deletion after uninstalling the app or when you cannot use its Settings flow, email the CarVault support address using the button below.

Where possible, send the request from the email address associated with the Google or Apple sign-in used for CarVault. Include only the information needed to identify the account. Do not send a password, access token, full VIN, or vehicle records. CarVault may ask you to complete a proportionate authenticated step to verify the request.

What deletion removes

After a verified request, CarVault locks the account, removes the application account and its associated vehicle details, mileage, fuel, expenses, service records, reminders, settings, and calculated statistics, then deletes the associated Cognito user.

Different Google and Apple sign-ins are separate CarVault accounts. Submit a separate request for each account you want deleted.

Temporary retention

Deletion starts as an asynchronous workflow. Some limited operational data may remain for the periods below before it expires or is removed. These items are not available as normal CarVault application records.

  • Deletion queue metadata: up to 4 days; failed-message queue metadata: up to 14 days.
  • Content-free deletion-completion marker: up to 7 days.
  • Operational logs: up to 30 days; designed to exclude request bodies, tokens, account IDs, record IDs, and vehicle free text.
  • AWS DynamoDB point-in-time recovery copies: up to 35 days.
  • Support correspondence and minimal rights/security evidence may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy or where law requires it.
